They voted to have a bible history course, very much similar to the course taught in Winston-Salem. It is not a comparative religion or literature class. There is a group, Citizens for Quality Education, made up of mostly Democrats and, gratefully, a number of Republicans who are attempting to vote the majority Board members out of office. Unfortunately, the candiates run on a party line. Therefore, in this hot bed of conservatism, the winner of the Republican primary will probably be the elected Board member. The Christian Coalition makes a loud noise in these school board elections. Add a city. Be sure to tell why you think this place is liberal-unfriendly. Comment on Fort Myers.
