You may add a comment on Douglasville if you want. Douglasville is located just to the south of Cobb County (Newt's home turf) and is every much as Republican. As much as I hate to say it, being a native myself, most of the county's population is made up of bible thumping, gun totin' hicks. All of the county's elected officials have jumped over to the Republican party in recent years because they know they won't be re-elected otherwise. Needless to say, there are NO Democrats representing Douglasville/Douglas County at the local level. The Douglas County Democratic party died years ago. Douglasville is part of Georgia's 7th Congressional District, which has twice elected NRA puppet Bob Barr. The local newspaper is completely dominated by Republican propaganda. There are NEVER any moderate or liberal themed columns or editorial cartoons. Douglasville is a great place to live, but don't come here for your politics! Add a city.
