Thundernet
Patient File #315 (extra restraints required)

Thundernet is many things. First, it is the home of the American Guardian, which is a magaine of the Recontructionist movement of Chirstianity, a movement dedicated to restoring by force the Old Testament laws of Moses in America. Secondly, Thundernet hosts a gross parody of the acclaimed Hatewatch site, in which they feature groups like the ACLU and GLAAD as "promoting hate" against white supremacists. Thundernet also has the standard kook right gaybashing, with a special emphasis on the the discredited notion of a "threat" to children posed by gays. Finally, showing their goodwill, Thundernet provides web hosting to a myriad of neo-nazi, gay-bashing, white power and other hate sites.

Society for the Practical Establishment and Perpetuation of the TEN COMMANDMENTS
Patient File #314 (immediate assignment to criminally insane ward requested)

This site is the mouthpiece of a group calling for the overthrow of democracy and the establishment of a society goverened literally by the 10 Commandments. Among some can't-miss features are a perverse Biblical Judge Wapner, who thoughtfully considers many modern legal dilemmas and passes along his legal opinion, which usualy has something to do with stoning. Other sections of the site contain articles on various hot topics of the time, including proof that "The Constitution Causes Homosexuality" and an annoying scrolling Java applet advocating internet censorship "consistant with the Law of God."

Family Research Council
Patient File #210 (sedate and evaluate)

The Family Research Council is an organization that has little to do with families and even less to do with research. Instead, they spend their time chipping away at the wall separating church and state, attacking a woman's right to choice, and enthusiastically bashing gays. The web site itself is pretty sedate, and well-layed out. The site features a good search engine for the FRC's policy papers, filled with "science" that would make the Flat Earth Society envious. Nothing terribly extraordinary here, but if you want a very detailed look into what the radical right believes politically, check the FRC out. Just don't expect to find much "faith, family, or freedom" here, unless you are a white, Biblical fundamentalist, male, heterosexual Christian.
