About Turn Left

I started Turn Left nearly 2 years ago, on January 26 1995. At the time, Newt and his buddies had just taken over Congress, and liberalism was in the dumps. The web was spilling over with conservative sites and pages, but there was no where for liberals to turn to, to call home. So I started "The Liberal Information Page" which was at first just a collection of links. Over time it has grown to be the largest site of its kind on the web. Thank you for visiting and I hope you feel at home. Please do not hesitate to send me your feedback and comments.

Turn Left Exclusives
On many pages here, you might see a symbol like this....
after a link. This means that the link is to a Turn Left exclusive...a document that is unique to Turn Left and which cannot be found anywhere else. These are an important part of this site. After all, many sites contain links, but considerably less have unique content of their own. Turn Left is proud to feature these exclusives.

Technical details on Turn Left
Turn Left is designed to look its best in Netscape Navigator 2.0 or higher or Microsoft Explorer 2.0 or higher, on both Macintosh and PC platforms. Turn Left was created entirely on my Macintosh 7600/120 using BBEdit 4.0 for the HTML coding and Photoshop/Graphic Converter for the graphics. Turn Left is served by Pair Networks.
